Hojas 30-80 cm; pecíolo 13-35 cm, glabro; eje con algunos tricomas esparcidos, adpresos, dorados, más densos en el sulco; separación entre pares de pinnas 6-8 cm; pinnas (2-)5-6 pares; estipelas bigeminadas, el par distal 1.5-2 mm, los pares basales 0.5-1 mm, todos subulados, esparcidamente adpreso pelosos; folíolos 14-23 × 6-8.5 cm, elípticos, glabros o con algunos tricomas adpresos, diminutos, a lo largo de las nervaduras en el haz, pelosos en el envés, los tricomas dorados, erectos, más densos a lo largo de las nervaduras, la base aguda a obtusa, los márgenes irregularmente crenados, algunas veces doblemente crenados, el ápice agudo; peciólulos 0-5 mm; nervadura oscura cuando seca en el envés, con c. 20 pares de nervaduras primarias, más cercanamente espaciadas en la base del folíolo. Inflorescencias 30-60 cm, difusamente ramificadas muchas veces, glabras o diminutamente adpreso pelosas, las bractéolas c. 1 mm, subuladas, prontamente caducas, los pedicelos 3-5 mm, articulados en el 1/2-1/4 inferior.
